Patrick Brooks

August 25, 2016 by jameslov

I was born in 1936 on Church Street in Hardwick, Vermont.  I have been in Hardwick off and on all my life.  patrickI used to enjoy gardening for people. I studied in 1979 to become a monk at a monastery in Lexington,Kentucky.  I have worked in restaurants and state mental institutions.  I also studied to become a male nurse and a hairdresser.  I have been coming to the GRACE community workshop in Hardwick, Vermont for the last few years. What brings me joy is being with people.  I like doing artwork and working with people.  I like to shop for people getting groceries for them.  I used to like working on farms with the cattle.  It is a joy to me to take care of cats and dogs.
