Community Art Show: August 3 – September 28, 2016. A non-juried group show featuring over 25 community artists of all ages and abilities from Hardwick and surrounding towns. A variety of media are represented, including watercolor, acrylic and oil paint, ceramic, molded paper, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, collage, mixed and found object art.
Celebrating Dot Kibbee: May 25 – July 27, 2016. Dot was a long time GRACE artist, whose distinct style is celebrated by many collectors of GRACE art. Dot was featured in Who is Community (an interview and portrait project conducted by Marie LaPre Grabon and Mary-Ellen Lovinsky), with an interview and portrait which are included in the solo exhibition of more than 30 pieces of Dot’s work.
Amazing G.R.A.C.E.: 40 years: March 2 – May 18, 2016. The first part of a retrospective traveling exhibition of GRACE work. Featuring over 25 GRACE artists from the past 40 years of artmaking. The show will travel to the Amy Tarrant Gallery at The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, VT from June 3- August 27, 2016. The show will then continue on to The Vermont FolkLife Center in Middlebury, VT.
Thanks to our partnership with the Flynn Center, and a grant from the Northeast Kingdom Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation for helping fund this project. Thank you to the Lyman Orton Foundation and multiple private collectors for loaning artwork to GRACE to make this exhibition possible.
